Default First flat plane and its a minature

Hey All,
Today was the first chance I have had to carve in awhile. I was wanting to do something different, so I found a peice of 1" x 2.5" . I ended up with this little guy. I call him "Hack' because that's what I did, I just hacked him out a block of wood. He ended up being .75" wide and just over 2.25" tall.
The one picture shows him standing beside the biker I finished awhile back which is 10.5" tall. Hope you enjoy. Any comments or critiques are welcome.

Nomad, Arnold, and Gene,
Thanks so much for taking the time to view my carving.
Gene, the whole time I was working on the face I kept saying. Remember to do it like an egg? I am listening at least with my ears, I just can't seem to get my fingers to listen.

Safe Carving and God Bless,

Mark

Mark, Hack is great. Yours looks closer to Gene's type of carving than mine did. I think your fingers are getting the message better than mine are.

He he he! He's great Mark! And when you're only 2-1/4" tall I guess you're looking up at everyone!
That biker looks H-U-G-E! next to him! That wee guy would need scaffolding to paint him! Looks like a remake of Guliver in Lilliput! LOL!
