Thanks Corey. It was really a monkey see, monkey do carving. Harley Refsal's video is great. I have another one of these roughouts so I'll give it another go. Just got to find the time. Can't hardly keep up with the postings on this board, let along find time for carving at the moment.

He looks great Nomad! and painted up really well! The next one will be a 'trodden path!' and you'll rattle through him!
I sent to Foxchapel for that DVD two weeks ago......... zzzzzzzzzzz....... think the pigeon must've died mid Atlantic!
