Default A couple of young ladies

Here are a couple of young'uns from Shipley's Country Folk. I had a lot of fun carving these two. Lots of comments and help from the wife. Enjoy. Al

Al .. you did a very good job of these ladies .. your cuts are very good and your facial structure is very flat plane .. a good job on the flat plane side

I like them, I haven't been able to do a lady yet, they turn out SOOOOO UGLY that I make them into men. Just can't stand to see that ugly a women looking at me. great job

Thank you everyone. I have to agree with Slowmover. I haven't been to sucessful doing ladies todate. Keep trying. I have one that just bought a new dress that I'll post as soon as she is done. Al

Al I can tell you really quick why you got so many comments on theses carvings? They are excellent whittled,nice sharp cuts and I like the natural finishes also.

Keep up this neat carving cause I sure enjoyed theses.
