Default coupla couples

I am recovering famously from my hip surgery. The therapist says i am 2 weeks ahead of schedule. It is so goood to walk I walked a mile today.surgry was 4 weeks ago tommorow.
Anyway I have been carving couples. The reason one pair is unpainted is I am giving it to a lady who is a painter and perhaps she cn do a better job on the painting than I.
These were lots of fun to do. I think they are flat plane, I wanted them to be.

Likes like you're getting ready for the next round of the Hillbilly Reunion, Herb. Those could be couples getting waiting for the square dance to start. Nice looking carvings!

Nice job on those! I especially like the way the unpainted lady turned out - the way you did her arms and skirt, it's really looks like she's dancing. Glad you're recovering so well!

These are great, Herb! Your couples have real 'character'. In the painted pair, I luv the expression with his mouth and the dog with his "yeah, whatever" look! The unpainted pair really do look like they're boogyin' and 'getting down'! Good work! Thanks for sharing.
