Default Chefs

My sister in law asked me to carve a chef for her son who is studying to be a chef.
here are the results the first is my standard bearded guy in a chefs hat and jacket you can tell he is my generic guy cause he looks like a brother to the elf on the end
The middle one is from Harley Refsal's Little Folk book, That is a loaf f bread under his arm and I did have some difficulty getting the color to approximate the color of bread
They are not focused as well as i'd like I think I am regressing as a photographer

Nice looking guys, but the one on the right might have to wear a beard net while he cooks ;-)
I'm sure they will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for sharing

Eric

Thank you all, Eric, the one with the beard was a fantastic chef in Chicago but strong drink got to him and he wandered west and is a chuck wagon cook on a round up crew you can tell as he is wearing cowboy boots and is a little pigeon toed and bowlegged under that apron, His pride kept him wering his chef's hat and jacket tho.

Nice work, it will be a nice gift to receive.

I like the middle one with the bread. It's out of focus, but the color of the bread looks ok. You are getting better with the colors from what I see.
