Nice work Ethan! Gene does have one of the best carving sites around but with that big elf you're carving I'm amazed how you can get so much done. Both you and Gene are real inspirations. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Great job! Gene and Arleen are a big help to all of us with their videos. Thanks to them many of us have taken up the chip making hobby. You did a great job on painting as well as carving. Keep up the good work. Wanda

Good job Midnight. Gene is a great teacher. Arleen at Carverswoodshop is another great teacher. Both on You Tube. Doug |

I've seen most of those videos too. The only project I actually tried so far was the bear and I carved at least five of those.

Midnight, looks like you have mastered Gene's classes. I'm still working on it. Thanks to people like Gene and Arleen, woodcarving has progressed greatly. They must both have excess energy to be able to do as they do. Keep up the good work, and a special thanks to Gene and Arleene.

Thanks to everyone about the kind words about my carvings, all I did was try to follow along. We are lucky that there are people like Gene and Arleen out there who are willing to help others out. They really make getting started carving alot more relaxing then it would have been if I was fumbling through it alone. Eric |
