Default Carving with Gene

I wanted to say thanks to Gene! I have spent alot of late nights in January carving along with him (on youtube). It is such a huge teaching tool to actually be able to watch how someone else works and it has really helped me get started.
Here are my versions of his projects.

Very nice work! You certainly seem to have the knack of following along. I, too, find Gene's videos very engaging and easy to follow. One day soon I hope to get back to them.

Excellent carvings midnight, you are off to a great start. We are all very fortunate to have awesome carvers like Gene and Arleen (carverswoodshop) that take the time to do theses excellent videos, they have both been a huge help to all of us. Keep those carvings coming and just have fun!

Dave
