Default Carved in Afghanistan, Painted in Olympia

Here are a few little guys I carved during my tour. They are now paint washed and waxed. I came home to a finished garage and carving station with new lighting and new tool chests. My wife and father-in-law worked hard to make it a great Christmas gift, it is the best gift to date. I just built a deck so I will have to carve a bear to put out there, it'll give me a chance to use my full size tools, life is good. Happy holidays to you all and thank you again for the great company and encouraging comments.

Welcome home, Charles! Thank you from the heart for your service. Those are some great little guys you carved and it's good to see they made it through your tour in Afghanistan. The paint and wax sets them off super. Congrats on the new garage and carving station. You're a lucky guy to have such a loving family to do that for you. Happy carving!
