Nice one, Herb! I like how you did that. I need to try something similar soon for my niece, except she plays soccer. I'm hoping to carve an "action" scene. We'll see if my skills are up to it. I still have two months.

Glad you were able to copy it, Herb. After I had it done, I discovered my "major error": His legs were too short! Oh, well - my wife loved it anyway and it is sitting on the mantel right now, anxiously awaiting BBall season for her... Claude |

Thanks Mark, wow, you are the first to compliment my painting I must be improving Claude, The legs may not be too short it s the trunks that are (stylishly) long. mine is a high school kid so he can be a bit shorter tho I can see how really long legs would make for a better caracature Gene, yes, I checked that our I m proud and have been e mailing my friends and relatives to check out your blog spot maybe we will get even more interest in Flat plane work
