Default 2nd attempt at a female face!

I've done another poor lass! This one's smaller and the right size face for the figures I've got in mind. She's 1-1/4" x 1". I think she's a bit better than "Last Call Lilly!" LOL!
What d'ya think guys? (oh no!......... wait for the barrage of abuse! LOL! )

Hi Simon,
I see definite improvement. When I put the two pictures side by side I see a big difference, better expression, cheeks, lips, chin and hairline. She looks more feminine.
Sorry about the abuse (I certainly could not do any better!).
I am looking forward to seeing the other six figures of the project.

Frank

Looking better Simon, but since you are expecting abuse, nostrils would be nice. Seriously, I do envy your ability. Cheers.

I'll be right back Simon, I have to go get another six pack.

Tom

Just kidding, You are getting there. I don't know why women are so much harder to carve than men. I know you will figure it out. She does have to breathe though.

Simon,
Well buddy, I have to be honest. I went back to the first attempt and did a good comparison. I would definitely take the second one to the prom over the first attempt. I like everything about this one better. The detail in the carving of the face, the way the hair flows, and even the painting are good. I think you are getting it down pretty well. I only have one question though. Can we expect 50 or so little "wee gals" to match up to all the "wee guys" from before. You did good.

Safe Carving and God Bless,

Mark

Thanks guys! I deliberately didnt give her nostrils........... that way she has to stop talking to breathe! LOL! Hahaha!
No.... none of my guys have nostrils (mind you none of them eyebrows either!)
Mark, 50 wee gals!!! Gimme a break! Bad enough with two women in the house when my daughter comes over! LoL!

This one looks a lot better, Simon: smoother and softer features, more rounding. Altogether a much better female face. And you exercised restraint on the makeup. Good job all around.
