Its because you set your weak side as your standard. Duplicating this is then easier to do with your dominant side, rather than the other way around.

This is ok if you are happy with the work standard of your weak side. In my experience, to improve you need to push your weak side harder to get it up to the same standard as your dominant side rather than lower your dominant side to the same level as your weak side... (hope that makes sense).

This is called 'Practice'.
