Default Time for a new cane.

I haven't carved myself a new cane in a while and was getting bored with my other selections, (8 at persent), so I deceided to make myself another. This one is a grasshopper ....... er ......... no, maybe it's a lion, ya, that;s it, it's a lion.

The head is Cherry, the shaft is Mahogany and the spacers are Ebony and Holly.

I'm quite happy with how it turned out, so maybe I'll make a few more big cats. Any ideas on ways to improve it? Always looking to improve my skills.

Bob

Bob,

Very nice job. There is, however, one major improvement you could make - send it to me.

Hi Bob,
Very good looking cane. I like the ebony and holly joiner too. It really adds to the look.
Of course, great carving and painting too.

Bob,
Very nice cane. Like the overall look. The carving, the painting, and the different wood choices set it all off very nicely.

Safe Carving and God Bless,

Mark
