Default Snakes alive!

After a few years of playing with this stick while camping, until this summer I got serious and decided to get it done. Well, It's finally finished. It's made out of Sumac and the tongue is basswood. I was going to paint it the pattern of a corn snake at first. But decided that I like the natural contrast of the wood and left the snake alone. I used a slight wash on the branch.

I really enjoyed making this stick and will attempt another, but not out of Sumac.

Hi Marcy,

What a great job you did carving that stick. I, too, like it natural.
