Default Serpentine walking stick

I picked up your magazine on carving a walking stick and really liked the one with a snake on it. I have been walking my dog by this broken off tree brance and thought that would be the one. Ive only been at this for about over a year but found the project very exciteing. Thanks for the great artical.

Heh heh - yeah - now THAT might get you noticed. :-) Really nice stick Lyn. Love the head on the handle, and the little tree frog.

Hi Lyn,

You did a very nice job on the snake carving and on the snake head on the end of the stick. The looks burned? The frog adds a certain amount of suspense and action to the stick. Very nicely done.

Hi Lyn, super job on the walking stick--having the natural arch the way it does makes the snake/snakes look like they are in motion.
