Lightbulb new cane toppers

Here are the latest cane toppers I have completed,also the staff is out of Cherry I think that it came out great the other staff is Walnut and Maple laminated I don't have any pics of it so both toppers are on the Cherry staff hope everyone injoys them.

The fish i very cool. I have never seen a cane topper that is a fish before. Nice job on both.

Two great sticks mate! The fish is particularly good. Don't think I've ever seen one better. I envy your access to cherry for the shafts. Lovely stuff. I noticed that the shaft has a couple of beads turned half way down. Is this a dimantleable shaft or are they just for show?

Thanks for the coments I have never done a fish either but had a guy ask if I could so there it is.About the staft it is just a little thing I do I put Three under the topper then 12 in. below that I cut Two just for looks kinda my trade mark.Glad that you like them I am starting on one now that is a Bluegill since it is a lot narrower fish not real sure how it will look.I will post it if it comes out okay.
