Ya can't go wrong with a hollow log section on end, or take a slice of log and drill holes into it. This would work best for smaller amounts unless you have acess to larger diameter logs. Hope this helps Carl

You can look around for old or new umbrella stands, a tall bucket or narrow drum. If you have time, you can make something like Carl said, drill holes in a board. A friend drills holes in a long board and clamps the board to the front of a folding table annd along the sides, too. Good luck w/ the show.

I forgot to mention, you can go to the hardware store and get the spring broom holder clamps. Just make sure they have the plastic coatings so the won't scratch you sticks. These are great because they're small, easlily mounted and don't take up as much space as the other ideas. Just screw them to a strip of wood and clamp it to the edge of your table.

Hi Kannuckcarver, I drill hole thru the top of the sticks and put a piece of 1/8" Raw Hide thru and tie Knots on each end. Then get small hooks so you can hang them up on, like a clothes line. If no Raw Hide get a Ball of 1/8" cotton cord. this makes a good handle for the new Owners. I did this at th craft Fair and the people could not walk by without stopping and touch them. Good Luck. Merle

I've seen them displayed in small barrels much like nails used to come in at the hardware store. A quick thrown together rectangular frame about 18 in by 3 feet would work too. ED |

Merle, I like that idea. People like to touch your right. Ed, I tried the barrel the problem is they get scrach up bad and they also fall over... Guys keep those idea coming. RonT, my space is limited up there and people are funny and tog and pull on everything..good sugg. for a permanent set up. Thanks.

If you had more time I could give you some ideas for more classy kinds of display racks. Since this is short notice I would recommend a tall basket such as is used for a clothes hamper. The kind that stands about 3 ft. tall and is about 16 to 18 inches in diameter. Use cardboard box material to make a grid insert. I made one like that that holds 21 sticks. If you drape the sides with some material it makes a nice appearance and is suitable for even shows that are fussy about your displays.
