Default My First Wood Spirit Carving

Here is my first wood spirit carving i did in a staff I'm making. I have carved snake sticks for about three years now and wanted to learn how to carve wood spirits and i got to say I'm hooked... I think this one came out good for it being my first, thought i would share it with everyone here...

Also I just want to thank some of the members here on getting me the tut's to make this project happen..

Had some difficultly viewing the woodspirit from the photos but I then realized how you approached the face. You'll be carving more of these characters no doubt. With your interest in Wizards, you'll have to carve a wizard hat and other accessories into your stick. Well done.

I like the way you did your stick. Took me a second to see it but really liked the finished carving. Thanks for sharing
Robert
