Default My 2nd Stick
Hi, I recently decided to take up carving and decided to work with sticks. This is my 2nd creation. I found a twisty stick and decided to go for the old snake stick. I just wanted to say what a help these forums have been as I knew relatively nothing about wood carving. So thank you to everyone here.

For a beginner, you sure do good work. Many new carvers seem afraid to go deep enough into the wood making their creations look like they've been flattened onto the stick. You haven't fallen into this 'trap'. Lots of depth and realistic detail... well done. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
