Thanks all for the kind remarks! I am encouraged that I was able to show some improvement; that's what keeps me trying! I might actually be able to sell this one (which would help improve my tool fund). The faces really are a challenge for me, but I am hoping that enough practice will improve my skills. Everyone's advice and comments have really helped me with all things carving related.
