Good job, I recently seen a few of my first sticks and was amazed at how far I'd gone. My first sticks were really crude, your off to a nice start.

good job for the first one,that is why I like the wood spirits about anything is okay.the ones I am playing with are a little deeper and more defined but haven't put one on a stick as yet.

Great job. Hmmmm blackthorn, now I gotta try a walking stick out of that. We have tons here in IL.

Blackthorn makes a nice strong working walking stick and it takes a nice finish when oiled. Also legend has it that like Harry Potters wand it has magic qualities. One thing for sure like his wand, one tap and most pests dissapear.
