Default Dragon staff

You may recall about a month ago, someone looking for a carver to carve a dragon hiking staff. Well, I took up the challenge and completed it. I had the staff delivered by courier yesterday. So now that the nice folks have their staff, I feel that I can show the results to our members here now. The wood is Oak with Holly horns.

The pictures aren't great, nor do the staff justice, but will have to serve. I shot them the day before, just before I had applied the finish. But they give you the general idea. I was in a hurry to get things done and completed, that I forgot to take pictures of the finished staff. I hope they like it!

That's an awesome staff Bob! I really like the natural tones of brown's and tan's you got in the coloring, and the combination of wood burnning and carving. I bet your customer was thrilled to receive it.

Hi Bob,

You did a great job on that stick and carving it from oak makes me appreciate your work on it even more.
