McBride/Robson Valley (really!). The benchmark at our little airport reads about 700'. It's so busy that parents use the runway to teach their kids to ride a bike. Some good tributaries to the Fraser River (Holmes, McHale, Castle, Dore, Raush) but the fishing (for anything) has been discouraging
The best of the best DW comes off the edges of the avalanche chutes, I'd guess the ones I drive through are up another 500 - 1,000 feet or more. Coincidentally, also prime mature grizzly habitat, here. Don't go alone. The DW guys here are armed with chainsaws, they're ionto their favorite patches by the end of April. Any big, old logging road is good for alder, I'd guess 15,000 sticks per mile.

If and when there's a good distributor down south, we could ship carloads by rail out of here.
