Smile different type cane topper

This topper is the newest cane that I have just finished a little different but was ask if I could make one with a Bluegill head on it.Well I did my best so here it is for all to chech out,Hope you all like it the staft is two piece out of poplar same piece but much different type coloring I think it is cool.Hope all like it.

Nice one Gary. You certainly have captured the colours. Living in Oz, I'm not familiar with the species but it looks good to me!

Thanks everyone this one is for the lady that runs our carving club so it must be my best for her.Last week I took it to carving and was just putting the scales on it and she was taking pictures of it so I think she must like it.Will take it this week to let her have a look at the almost finished piece just need to antq. it and seal it with clear coat.glad everyone seems to like it.I am proud of it and I guess that is what matters,but Thanks again everyone.
