Hi everybody,
I'm new to the site & I'm looking for help. I'm looking for a place to buy a chunk of Gumbo-Limbo. Any ideas?
Thanks,Ron.

Welcome to the WCI Forum. I did some quick research on Gumbo Limbo and found it to be a tropical tree and the only place saying much about it in the U.S. is from central Florida south. One reference did state that it might be grown across the sougheast U.S. but my guess is it is only along the cost.

Not a large tree, trunk wise, the it was the principal wood for carousel horses and, in in Haiti for drums.

You will probably have to contact some mills in FL or along the Gulf Coast.
