Question Your best seller?

What is your top selling carving or carving type?

Is the bear still what most buyers are looking for or is it anything cheap enough for an impulse buy? How about size? If it's small enough for the buyer to pick up and walk away, will that sell before a better carving that requires a dolly and pickup truck?

Wow Brian - I'd say thats a pretty amazing attention getter. Spectacular!!! I can see why they'd sell well.

I feel it depends where your carving, to the nature of the sale. If your in a chainsaw competition ,customers will know what to expect. If you have an outlet to sell carvings they can make a decision what to buy as far as size. To answer your question, yes, bears sell. Since I don't have access to equipment to load large items most of mine are from 16" to 48" high. I guess it depends on your resourses to move items. Most customers do like the fact they can load it in their vehicle at craft fairs and take it home.

Wow is right! I'm gonna have to try the eagle's but I still really have to work hard at getting the "parrot" out of them.

I've only done about five chainsaw carvings so far... all bears except for one gigantic woodspirit. All of the bears sold quickly and the one I kept has had many offers. I think there's a very good untapped market around here for bears.
