Default Wanted plans for log holder to let me carve standing up

Somewhere back in time I came upon plans for a stand to hold logs for carving. Now I can't find the article again. Can anyone direct me? I'm wanting a stand that holds logs and lets me carve standing up. The tilt of the log is adjustable. This wasn't just a sawhorse but a bit more complicated.

Ball Vise Plans pictures by brianharnett - Photobucket
Brians site has many interesting things , I have procured the bowling ball , just need the time. I purchased a Jawhorse and it works well also , but made a pair of plywood sleeves that fit on the metal jaws, hate to tick the jaws with a chain.

Thanks for the compliment Hutch,

I have since modified my vice to allow more horizontal carving for signs.

I use it every day, not walking around the piece is very convenient.

If it's for a log, perhaps this contraption of mine is useful:
A bit overdesigned, but it can take very heavy logs, and you can walk around it without moving the piece, or bending over.

duBois: Thank you! Most ingenious. I have that style of jack/clamp and the bench is already built. I will cut some stop cleats from 4x4 (10cmx10cm).
