Default Tiki or Totem

Figured I would try out doing a totem. Not real sure whether to call it a totem or tiki. Got a guy that wants a 6' totem and he is going to do my business cards also for me.

That's Great! Would look good in my son's "tiki" backyard.

As a stand alone I'd have to go with calling it a very happy tiki. Nice job!

Hi Bman,

I'd call it a friendly tiki. I have a bunch of tikis at my shop, and it seems like even customers are never sure. Some call 'em tikis, some call them totems, and others call em tiki totems. If it helps you can check out Hey Everybody! It's Konakai.com! for some polynesian style tiki's. As far as totem poles go, they seem to always be elusive online. Maybe the local library will have a book or two?

Good Luck,

Tim
