Default Stihl 1/4 pitch carving chain
Hi, just to clarify the new carvig chain from Stihl verses the old design & why the old design has a problem with the tie straps & cutters binding when turning the tight radius on a dime tip bar here is a pic comparing the two, Notice the squarer corners on the bottom edge of the cutter & the tie straps are the same but worse on the leading lower edge than the cutters also. I have also edited the one pic to show what needs to be done if using any type of stock 1/4 pitch chain before using it on a dime tip bar!
