Last night after our news they have a show called On the Road with Jason Davis , and its a fella who does interviews with Minnesotans and their talents.

Anyway, last night he had a very small segment (could have made it the whole show as far as I'm concerened. LOL) on a chainsaw carver from Hinkley Mn.

I did a search and found his site, what wonderful work this guy does. Wow.

I just thought I'd share the site with you other chainsaw carvers.

We have a few sawn creations in our local area and it just never ceases to amaze me that something so beautiful can be carved from a huge tree base. We have a big Eagle in flight near our grocery store, and I have to take a good look each time. Its impressive.

Anyway.. here ya go. Sculpture by Roghair: Kettle River Carving Company

For those who don't have the book, Dennis Roghair is one of the artists featured in The Art of Chainsaw Carving.
