That really is a great carving Greg and I agree that you sure have come a long way! I'm not surprised that it has ranked so high as it's quite a step up from the trypical simple,solid chainsaw carving. This one is quite complex with all the animals scattered about. Really nice and thank's for posting.

That is a very nice carving I bet you enjoyed carving it.

I planned on going this year but had some obligations to take care of.

First let me say that I am very impressed with your chainsaw carving. I never knew that you could get that much detail. Looks great.

I know you stated that when you left it was still in the top 20 but do you know how your carving finished overall? Is there a website to look at all the entries?

I will have to try and make it to next years event.

Glad to hear you made it home safe and sound. Sounds like you had a long trip and to do it straight through. Whew.

I don't know of a site to look at all the pictures but here is a link to a chainsaw forum that alot of us use. There are several threads with pictures on it.
