Default Quick carve dragon about 6'

This is my quick carve dragon, just shy of 6' tall. I started it yesterday and finished it up tonight. Although it took me a total of about 12 hours, it sure beats the 163 hours I spent on my first dragon! So, here are a few progressive shots, ending with the finished piece. Hope you all have a great week!

Chaz,
He's go great lines and movement. I've found that quick carves come right out of the subconscious, after one has spent hours of painstaking conscious study. Nice work!

Quick! I can't imagine how you did that in one day.
Great dragon, and I do remember your others. This one is simplified, but has the same feeling of "out of the wood" motion in it.

Chaz,
It may not have the same 163 hours but it does not lack your excellent skill. This as well as your other dragon still have me in awe. Nice job.

Safe Carving and God Bless,

Mark

Chaz, that's one heck of a carving for just 12 hours invested. I'm totally impressed. When I carve something large like that I tend to pick it to death. Hard to find a stopping point. Great job!!
