Hi all, Just wanted to give an open invite to carvers in the area to stop on out during our Christmas Open Studio. This is a good time to come out and ask questions or just to shoot the breeze. It's a good time to network, and a chance to share ideas and tips. On these days of the open studio I don't plan on carving, so people are not taking me away from my duties. I know prior to my post someone was asking about classes, well this is a good opportunity for people interested in this art form, in my area, to make connections. We are located in Eagle,Wisconsin between Milwaukee and Madison. If interested in more info go to my web site www.youngerswoodery.com Hope to see some new faces, Bob Younger |

Here are a few pictures of the showroom right after it was set up for the open studio. I invited 5 other artists to display work to round out the showroom. I hope you enjoy and Merry Christmas. Bob |

Thanks Kathy, first weekend went well. I did meet one local hand carver and had a nice chat. He might bring some of his carvings to display in the shop. This is what I mean when it comes to networking and making connection at events like this. This forum is a great help, but when there is something local, it can give people a chance to learn more specific to their area. Plus, I enjoy talking to real people rather than logs.lol Take Care Bob |
