Default Ok almost done with my first carving.

Well here is my first ever chainsaw carving which is almost done. I still have to do some finishing on the mouth and nose and color and sealer also.

Yes that certainly looks like a bear - great job on your first one. You don't have to raise the bar very high to improve on that carving - well done.

Great job on the first bear as that's a good one to get some pictures of since you can look back to 5 or so years from now when you're doing some professional carving for Stihl or Huskvarna. Seriously, thank's for sharing him with us!

Great project! I'm sure someone will claim it before it is finished.

That's a great bear, and wonderful for the first one with a chainsaw.

Isn't it fun? I just love how quickly you can get in the "zone" with a chainsaw.
