Default Newspapers and Waypoints

Hi fellow carvers

Just thought while there was a bit of a lull I would share a few items....The Orillia newspaper came out and did an article on the tree carvings that Colin, Jenks and I did a few weeks ago. It ended up on the front page ( its a very small news paper), here is the link.....

http://www.orilliapacket.com/webapp/sitepages/content.asp?contentid=643733&catname=Local+News&cl assif=News+Live

Then a fellow who saw the article came out and took waypoint bearings on them all and posted them to a website called waymarks......the site has some interesting carvings shown from around the world....

and finally a couple of pics of my first attampt at a bear/collie dog/beaver.....

Hi ST,
It sure looks good now after a few touch-ups and some colour added.
I will send you a pic of my 1st Bear.

Love all the carvings posted above me!! S.T.'s looks like he's been feasting on all the blueberries up there north of the border! as they should be quite ripe at this time.

Great newspaper article too! Thank's for letting us in on all the news that's fit to print!

Hey ST,
That ferret is great (LOL) Lynny must have had a change of heart I see she has let you put it out front of the house. Last I heard she was threatening to put it on the firewood pile. I guess Bob was out today and you guys were carving a bear sorry I couldnt make it had to go to the dump and my garage door collapsed on me. See you tomorrow
Colin
