I just got back from spending 8 days with my brother down in Kingston Ontario Canada. He has NEVER carved anything before let alone with a chainsaw. These are pics of what he accomplished. I am so proud of him. The tree is Elm (very hard). He got it from a neighbors property. It is approximatley 10 foot around on the base and 9 1/2 feet tall. He's not a computer guy so I've posted this for him so that he can read any comments you might have.

Reason: Cant figure out how to insert pics here?
I posted a response on the gallery page, but I also want to say here how impressed I am with his work. Tell him that he needs to keep that up.
Wonderful carving even if it wasn't his first.
I tried carving with a chainsaw once...it took forever to carve anything, finally took it to the shop and the guy pulled on a rope and it started making a lot of noise!
