Default My First bird/hawk

hey guys... its been awhile since ive been on the fourm .... sorry... but this is my first attempt at a bird/hawk... no lie it started out as an eagle but the beak had a knot in it... so i broke that off and the beak became smaller more hawk like... so the rest of the bird changed with it too...

Very nice! Love that you were able to "improvise"!

Cool bird. Looks hungry. Nice lunch of starlings maybe?

Cool, keep at it and be prepared to do a lot more improvising, it's the nature of wood.

You're off to a good start. For the next one you might want to include the ridge across the upper mandible and to remove a bit of wood from under the lower mandible muscle.
