Default Heron and a Turtle

attempts at a heron and turtle

the legs on the heron, with some spots being only aroud .5 inch diam. have me amazed. i cant bel. they didnt break or split ... (knocking on wood)

used the carving bar with the turtle for the first time... very cool tool, almost no kickback and being able to reach and clean out underside of turtle and legs.. i couldnt reach in the legs with the die grinde..

alittle tip, i went to ace hardware to pickup a toilet flapper (for constantly running toilet) and walked through the paint isle and hit the mistint section.. picked up a gallon of deck stain for $5 color moss green (maybe time to do an alligator) a few weeks ago grabbed a dark reddish color... pretty cool and beats spending $20+ per gallon...
