Default The Funky Chicken Art Project chainsaw party

Hi all,
I haven't posted in awhile. Just busy.
I have guests visiting and working (read: "playing") in the studio and will post pictures of the fun as we progress.
Dick Tilley, and Tony Langston are here from England. Thor arrived today and will stay through Friday and have Thanksgiving supper with us all. Carl Pirone, another carver who lives locally has been back twice to carve and enjoy the fun, and my neighbor from across the road has been by twice and will be back as soon as he eats a turkey.

Anyone nearby is welcome to come by and watch them work if you have time.
Christina

Hi Dave, maybe one day you can come for a stay. We would love to have you here.

Robson, it simply isn't anchored. The Island Monkeys, as they have come to be known, are so quick it would slow them down.

Hi Susan, I've been thinking about you and we all went through your dragon book yesterday and enjoyed it all over again. Good to hear from you. Chainsaws are so much fun.

Colin, my friend, we have had a long year, but things are looking really great in the months to come. I'm honored to have Dick, Tony and Thor here, and we are all having a great time. Thanks for your thoughts. James has been cooking up a storm for all of us for the past week. Today, turkey Thanksgiving is my turn, so I am in the kitchen.

I understand about the "pretty girl nearby" regarding Tilley owls. Around here, they are legitimate currency. He has traded one for big logs being delivered, one for the sandblasting for the carvings, and one for a big log truck moving logs around. Paper money means nothing to the man.

I'll take more pics and post them. For now, here are a few more.
Happy Thanksgiving all,
Christina

Hey Funckie, good to read you're still hanging in there. Will make an effort to get up to see you before we leave for the lake.
