Your a marvel. Your carving style is expressed , as if it was one of your reliefs .
For a first "well done" .

| | Re: first chainsaw carving of my own design WOW! Is it not amazing what a dramatic difference that a good paint job can do for a carving sometimes?!? Annnnnnnnnd.... those stunningly colorful flowers also compliment the little lady in a strong way. I mean that on a scale from 1 to 10 this carving went from a 5 to a near 10 ! Sure glad that you shook that darn camera back to life... it made all the difference! Nice ! |

| | Re: first chainsaw carving of my own design Thanks ya'll. It means a lot to get feedback on this, seeing as how it's the first and very primitive to say the least.
I am hooked on chainsaw carving, that's for sure. I'm ordering a carving bar and new chain and sprocket for my saw next week. I need more detail.
Meanwhile, I'm using the chisels for fine tuning.
I won't give up my other work, just more ways to work in wood.
Thanks again,
Thor |

| | Re: first chainsaw carving of my own design Well done. The painting makes it jump out at you, while fitting into the setting, all at the same time!
