Hi Brian, Really like the Eagle, a great job! The spirits look good too & a good use of a crotch with the feet! What is the one done in what looks like Walnut or stained dark?
Thanks, Robbin

Robbin, the one stained is another eagle, it is white pine stained with concrete pigment.

Brian,
Nice eagle! Muscular and athletic looking. Nice job sizing the feet. Especially good work on the curve of the beak, you've really studied your subject. I would like to see a pronounced frown on the eagle, he looks a little benevolent in the angle I see from the picture, but all around a really nice piece!

Hi Brian, The staining as I could have sworn it looked like Black Walnut but I am sure much easier to carve than carving it out of the Walnut! Great job!
Thanks, Robbin

Brian great carvings really imaginative with the crotch of the tree and the feet. I just love that eagle you really captured it. I get the idea that he had just spotted and rabbit and is just about to take off. Great concept really well done.

Thanks everyone for the encouraging words. The eagle sold out of the back of my truck while I was in conn looking at another job, Furniture to do not carvings.

It is good to get some sales again, it was pretty dead around here since Christmas.
