No Cedar is not all cedar. What you have is a tree that originates in the Atlas mountains of Africa( I googled it).Carve it and learn. It might be excellent, it might not be. One thing is for sure, when you become a woodcarver, you learn botany and tree identification, metallurgy, chemistry,advertising,sales, and marketing,drawing,painting,and the list goes on......
