Hi Dick, Nice simple but awesome stuff there & like the wool/vinegar finish on them. I still need to try that out but may need a refresher for the recipe, getting old ya know & starting to forget things along the adventure! Thanks, Robbin |

Iron Brew Just a plastic bottle of vinegar with some fine wire wool popped in and left for a few days, just pour some out and top up as nes. Or you could just dip the wire wool in the vinegar and rub it on, simples! dick |

Thanks Dick, I knew it was simple but wasn't sure? Do you find it makes any difference whether you use finer steel wools such as #000 or #0000? I have a whole package of the #0000 which is the finest & will probably never use it in my life time for other purposes? Thanks, Robbin |

The finer the wool the quicker it gets desolved into the vinegar, old iron filings, nails and I recall Bill Aslin dropping an old lamn mower engine into some old cider vinegar, scrumpy gone bad! Good stuff! dick |

Just been looking at flights, not a bad price, about £350.00 return.Looking at flying out on the 22nd sep, return 29th sep, should be enough time to burn a log! Bring some stock Brian, I will help you sell some wood! Bring a kettle and I will bring some tea bags, an Englishman likes his teabreaks! dick |
