Hi Lundy, Thanks for the comment! This was just a wierd looking piece of wood that reminded me of a Dragon in one direction & a Whale if I flipped it over & have wanted to do another dragon for ages, it just naturally fit & I wanted to keep as much of the "Natural Art" in the piece as possible. Finishing with a Satin finish, something a little different also & trying out a new product. Thanks, Robbin PS was dressing a bar last night & thought about your new saw & you should dress the bar (whicheer you got from Jamie?) before using it to carve, sorry should have mentioned this before also? |

Great dragon! did you carve it with a chainsaw? probably a dumb question. The detail you guys get is amazing.

You have captured the menacing look in that dragon head. That would be an impressive piece of carving hanging in the family cottage...or anywhere for that matter. Your patients doing all those teeth paid off. Patrick |

Hi All & thanks for the great coments! Sharon, it is probably 99% done with the chainsaw with ust a bit of detailing with the wecheer power carver & a Saburr-tooth burr. Dick, I have a Lady that likes the "Natural Art" that is interested in it already & the asking price as it is a rare piece also is $1200. Patrick, The teeth were actually fairly easy to do with the saw just had to watch I dn't blow them right off with it & thanks! Thanks, Robbin |
