Fancy a trip to Dear ol'blighty????

This is one of the best in the UK, not a competition, just a great get together.

Looks like a lot of fun. I wish I could come. Maybe someday.
I'm still trying to figure out how I can attend Rendevous in Pennsylvania.
Have fun for us Dick.

These pix above are from Llandudno, the event is usually held in St Asaph just up the road but due to the wet Welsh weather we ended up carving next to the beech, on the lefthand side of the bay is the 'Great Orm', its shape is like a crocodile. When the sun was setting over the 'Orm' the low light was magical....

...the auctioning off of the sculptures...

Dick I would love to come but the expense of making the trip is a little too expensive. Tack on accomedation meals etc and it gets really expensive. You never know though maybe one day I will make the trip looks like one hell of a time.

Dick,
Nice place to carve, but what Colin and ST are looking for is one of those colourful Caravans to sleep in and some free grub as well as a few cups of your special tea.
Winter is returning to Ontario, Canada tonight. Snow for the next 7 or 8 days . Well the nice January thaw couldn't last forever.
Can't wait until the end of the month when I head to Tarpon Springs, Florida.
I will have to take some small tools and some walking stick blanks to keep busy.

Bob

Dick,

I meant to go to this last year, and I hope to get there this year, although I don't use a chainsaw myself.

I lived just up the road from Duncan Kitson about 10 years ago, and saw a couple of his WIPs around his place. Wish I had started carving at the time.

Pete
