Default The Carving Post(s)

Hi All been busy "inbetween' with another project. Got the deck done on the long weekend & now mounting 4 upright posts/logs. 1st is Red Oak, 2nd is Black Walnut, 3rd is White Ash & the last will be Beech & I have left enough above the deck rails to carve in the round & the rest will be carved by guest carvers to leave their mark! The rails will all be done using any interesting logs I can find.

Hi Jay, You can become part of this fella if you or anyone else for that matter wants to drop down for a visit! This isn't just for invited guests but any carver that is passing the area is definitely welcome to drop in for a visit or two! I am going to carve the tops above the handrail but the remainder of the posts will be open to imaginations!
Thanks, Robbin

I love the idea, and the massive logs around the deck. What a great project that will be when it's done.
thanks for showing it to us at this stage. I look forward to seeing the progress.

Robbin,

That looks like it's going to be a good time. Can't wait to see what comes of it.

I couldn't help but notice the antenna tower in those pictures. Are you an amateur radio operator as well as a carver?
