Default Bigwood stopped in today

Hi Gang,
It is amazing how many carvers from this site I have met personally. Most of them from the USA because of my tendancy to roam around. It is always exciting to meet new people especially if you share the same interests. I would guess that I have met at least 20 people or more off of this site from Merry old England (Yea that would be you Dick Tilley) To West Virginia and Kansas. Today Big Wood (Jay) stopped in for a visit. Great to meet him and share ideas and woodcarving tips. He is a really nice guy, when I met him I didnt know if he had just come from his tree stand or notTalking he was all dressed in camo. Thanks for dropping by Jay I know we will be doing some carving together in the near future. I am the lucky one though Jay has his own tree removal business I will be dreaming of all that big wood all night.
No pun intended
Colin

Yes I got to meet Colin Partridge today, and see alot of his fantastic work in person, it was was a great experience. Some of Colin's walking sticks were very inspiring, I will try that some day when I buy some knives. Also got to see a Joe Rego piece, until this point I've only seen on the internet. And I've been a Rego fan for awhile. Also seen a carving given to Colin by the Irishman that I will not forget, I hope he has a picture in his gallery 'cause I will need to study this one. I learned alot in the short time I was there, thanks Colin. By the way I was wearing alot of camo, it was a pretty snowy day I guess I want people to see me coming. LOL on the other hand Colin was wearing his winter snow camo. We 're so far up North you would think he was huntin' polar bear LOL.
