Hi All, thought I would start this as a new post as this is a different carving & log in the same yard. I had started with the first 5 pics in the Walnut Griz post. I had Jean Andre. A friend & carver join me for the last two days carving & he carved a nice little Deer For Thomas (the owner) & here are the progress pics. The first 3 pics are of the morning after the first day or I guess the second days morning, whatever! John is 6'4" so it gives a good scale of the log also! Day 1 postbeaver6.jpg postbeaver7.jpg postbeaver8.jpg Day 2 postbeaver9.jpg postbeaver10.jpg Next post! |

| Robbin the beaver and deer are really cute. I'm sure Thomas will be blessed with visits from children wanting to have a closer look at these critters in his yard. Great to see you've got a carving buddy, Jean 6'4" wow the air must be pretty thin way up there. Robbin you could almost ditch your scaffolding with Jean on the job with you. |
