I like him. Love the colors and the stars on his wings. Definitely unique.

Chaz

Fantastic eagle and great color scheme!

I have been hand carving an eagle pin in cedar for my girlfriend as I get time. I am using the power carving article in the last WCI issue as a guide.

Your beautiful eagle has served as an inspiration for me. I particularly want to get the pin done ASAP since my girlfriend's daughter and future son-in-law just arrived at Fort Dix, NJ from Iraq on Friday after serving there for the last year in the Army National Guard.

Thanks

Bob L

Big dave,This is a new one for me, just wanted to try something different, I think I nailed the different part! Hope you are doing well and having fun, take care and thank you.

Robbin, hey thanks for the props, had a guy who said to carve him an eagle of any kind, so I gave him one of a kind! Hope you are doing well also brother and thanks again!

Sheri, Hey , i really had a blast carving this one and loved doing the paint job also. Enjoyed talking to you on the phone also, my wife Desiree says hi, hope you are having fun and creating a mess!

Bob L , I'm really glad you are inspired by this piece, the connection with our soldiers is deep to all of us, so I hope this piece can make them proud!

I'm doing a demo at a small art gallery on the 4th. Was wanting to do an eagle with the American flag draped across the base for it. The eagles no problem I'm just worried about screwing up on the flag.

Hi Des!

Hi Sheri, Just follow your heart & trust in yourself & you will do just fine, Don;t think about it or the left side will get to doubting yourself & you can always practice, before hand!
Thanks, Robbin

Thank you for the pep talk Robbin. I need that sometimes. I tend to think things to death when I should just get out there and do it. Btw. I was disappointed to hear you wouldn't be at Chazfest. I was looking forward to meeting you. Your carvings are fantastic! But I'm sure I'll get the chance to see you work at some point and I look forward to the opportunity. Sorry you can't make it.
