Default african mask

my latest project, just finished, an african mask i made for my wife, it's about 41 cm high and is made out of birch, burned and finished with Danish oil

to be honest it was the first time i made an african mask but it was fun to create, still am a bit troubled with the eyes, can't seem to get them correctly
Do you have any good ideas??

I agree with Don, it's very unusuall and would definitely sell..... I'm working on some projects to sell here in the city, as people here are not usually exposed to items sold in rural and suburban settings...

It's a mask so the eyes should be holes...

I realize this is a minor nit:

If the mask is to be danced, then yes it should have holes (but there are exceptions of course... some masked dancers are guided by an attendant). If the mask is strictly for display, holes are optional.
