Default Which one?

I have to look for another Reciprocating tool ,my Wecheer gave totally up on me and I love the fact not to wear a mask I have also to many chisels :-)))).What are the opinions about the other models .like Foredom and Automach???
Any suggestions are appreciated.

I have the weecher,they make a large one now thats alot tougher,if the one you had is blue,they make one that looks like a fordem,its reversable and I think its 1/4 hp.I also have a automach,its a little large for what I do,hope this helps you.

Some units are reveresable while others are not. What is the reverse mode used for - changing grain direction? How necessary is the reversable function? Thanks
